These are the great short! I just started and indoor cycling bike seat was unbearably painful. While no amount of padding will eliminate any discomfort (seriously-bicycle seats should be illegal) these make a big difference and are completely happy with the results! Also, for information on size, wearing a 16W to Macy's and Lord and Taylor and 3 X fits me perfectly. These are short, then wear a pair of shorts over them for modesty, and everything is completely at ease. Happy
